In Germany, many people experience racism every day. Sharing one' s own experiences and dealing with them creatively helps and makes strong. "Share Your Story" aims to make this possible by organizing creative workshops for young people. Creative writing and empowerment make it easier for participants to make their own experiences and issues tangible for themselves and accessible to society.

"Share Your Story" is currently hosted by Su-Jin and Joris in collaboration with Julia. Su-Jin is a director and university lecturer, Joris works in a political youth association, Julia is an empowerment trainer. All three like to work together with young people.

We want to give people who are affected by racism in Germany, i.e. BIPoC, migrant, marginalized or racialized people, the opportunity to exchange their own experiences and to network. Creative methods will be developed together to process one' s own stories and thoughts and transform them into creative ideas.

The stories you share with us, we not only want to collectively document them, but also make them visible to set an example. We want to dedicate space for your stories on this website as well as on our social media channels!
